About Us

We are an all-girls, non profit baseball organization located in the area of Pasadena, MD. We embrace and uphold the ideals and principles of Baseball For All, a significant force in advancing girls' baseball. Our mission is to provide girls aged 8 to 18 with the opportunity to engage in the sport they love. Unfortunately, this opportunity remains inaccessible to many girls, as baseball is often viewed as a "boys' sport" in numerous communities. We are actively working to change this perception.

Why do we do what we do? Too frequently, girls are discouraged from playing baseball solely because of their gender. At Chesapeake Girls Baseball (CGB), we aim to transform this narrative, empowering girls to have confidence in themselves and to continue participating in the game they cherish. 

Our objective is to promote gender equality in baseball by offering girls genuine opportunities to play, coach, and assume leadership roles within the sport. Additionally, we serve as a robust support system and community, ensuring that no girl or woman in baseball feels isolated. 

In just a few short years, the impact we have made on the game is evident, and this success is a testament to the individuals who have joined us and sponsored girls' baseball events across the nation. Each day, we hear inspiring stories of girls who have overcome obstacles to remain dedicated to the sport they, and we, love.
