Chesapeake Girls Baseball (CGB) is a nonprofit organization based in the Pasadena, Maryland area, dedicated to growing and advancing girls' baseball. Our mission is to provide girls ages 8 to 18 with the opportunity to play the game they love in an environment where they are encouraged, supported, and empowered.

For far too long, many girls have been told that baseball is a "boys' sport," leaving them with limited or no opportunities to continue playing simply because of their gender. At Chesapeake Girls Baseball, we are committed to changing that narrative. We believe every girl who wants to play baseball deserves the chance to pursue her passion without barriers.

Our purpose extends beyond the baseball field. We strive to build confidence, develop leadership, and create lifelong opportunities for girls and young women through the game of baseball. By providing meaningful opportunities to play, coach, mentor, and lead, we are helping create a more inclusive future for the sport.

Equally important, we have built a supportive community where girls and women in baseball know they belong. No player should ever feel alone in pursuing her dreams, and CGB is committed to ensuring that every athlete has a network of teammates, coaches, families, and supporters who believe in her.

In just a few short years, Chesapeake Girls Baseball has made a meaningful impact on the growth of girls' baseball. That progress has only been possible because of the incredible families, volunteers, partners, and sponsors who have stood beside us and supported girls' baseball initiatives across the country.

The future of girls' baseball has never been brighter. On August 1, 2026, the launch of a professional women's baseball league marked a historic milestone for the sport, giving today's young athletes something previous generations never had—a professional league to aspire to join. At Chesapeake Girls Baseball, we are proud to help prepare and inspire the next generation of female baseball players as they pursue dreams that are now more attainable than ever before.
